About the D11 Career Pathways Program:
Located on the Roy J. Wasson Academic Campus, Career Pathways provides Career and Technical Education (CTE) at the high school and college levels. District 11 provides “school-to-school” transportation at the start and end of every course block. Career Pathways is a program developed for those students interested in technical careers. These courses are not designed for and should not be used for credit recovery.
Due to the exciting Career Pathways opportunities in Business & Marketing, Digital Printing & Publishing, Education, Horticulture & Landscape Technologies, Hospitality & Tourism, Information Technology, Transportation, and Visual & Design Arts, students will receive a rigorous and relevant education on a semester-by-semester basis and may earn college credit and industry certifications.
Articulation agreements with Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC), Colorado State University, Pueblo (CSU-P), the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS), the University of Colorado Denver (UCD), and Metro State University (MSU), allow Career Path-ways students to potentially transfer high school courses towards college credits. Career Pathways students take college classes that coincide with their Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP).
